Businesswoman speaks at ABC Club
Ms Skosana spoke about her successes from starting out as a hairdresser to being a businesswoman in the hotel and hospitality industry.
The ABC Club’s monthly meeting took place at the Mecure Hotel in Bedfordview on Friday, June 13.
The meeting featured Ms Thozama Skosana, an entrepreneur and business woman, as the guest speaker.
Ms Skosana spoke about her successes from starting out as a hairdresser to being a businesswoman in the hotel and hospitality industry.
ABC Club Chairperson, Ms Anneliese Plettenbacher, also highlighted the work done by the members of the ABC Club.
“ABC Club member Ms Irene Droste has been the inspiration behind encouraging members to knit clothing for underprivileged newborn babies, who would otherwise leave the hospital covered in nothing but rags or newspaper,” said Ms Plettenbacher.
“Another inspirational knitter and club member is 92-year-old Gerrie de Beer, who shows no sign of slowing down her charitable knitting output,” said Ms Plettenbacher. @BedfordJourno
