
A docket of attempted murder and arson is being investigated by the Cleveland SAPS.
This comes after a shop went up in flames at the corner of Plantatie and Main Reef roads in Denver on Tuesday, June 24.
“The police received a complaint of arson. On arrival, officers found one shop in flames and four victims who were injured.
“One of the victims claimed he saw a group of unknown men with petrol in a bottle,” said Constable Mpho Mashakane, the communications officer for the Cleveland SAPS.
According to Const Mashakane, two of the victims sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital.
“A case of attempted murder and arson has been opened. Investigations are continuing,” said Const Mashakane. @JoburgJourno
