Warrant Officer Richard Munyai, the Jeppe SAPS communications officer, said 12 men in possession of firearms entered a student residence. They pointed firearms at them, assaulted two students and ordered them to lie down.
They took clothes, shoes, laptops, 20 cellular phones, school bags with books and cash.
“The suspects fled the scene on foot, heading towards the mountain. A case of house robbery has been opened for investigation,” said W/O Munyai.
