Warrant Officer Richard Munyai, the Jeppe SAPS communications officer, said on July 17 at about 6pm, two men entered the garage pretending to be customers.
“They drew their firearms and ordered the staff to lie down. The suspects gave one of the staff members a plastic bag to fill with money and cigarettes,” he said.
The men took the plastic bag, which contained an undisclosed amount of cash, and fired shots in the air before fleeing in a white Chevrolet Corsa bakkie.
