Author to speak at library

The second book, the Digit of Destiny, is a crime novel published in 2014.

The Friends of Modderfontein Library will host author, Mr John Larn, who writes under the name James Scott, at a coffee morning on Friday, October 31.

Mr Larn served in the Rhodesian Police (British South Africa Police) until 1980, lives in Johannesburg and has published two books.

The Sweaties is faction dealing with the police and the Rhodesian war.

The second book, the Digit of Destiny, is a crime novel published in 2014.

Copies of these books will be on sale and John will be available to sign them.

The event takes place at the Modderfontein Library, in Queen Street, and starts at 9.30am with refreshments available.

The talk will begin at 10am.

Members of the public are welcome to attend and booking is not required.

Entry for the event is R20 per person.
