BREAKING NEWS: R500k drug bust in Yeoville

Two men were arrested and drugs worth more than R500 000 recovered at a property situated on the corner of Grafton and Hopkins streets in Yeoville this afternoon.

Yeoville SAPS communications officer, Constable Thabo Malatji said police officers received a tip off from the community about the drugs stored on the property.

“When police arrived at the property two men were found with drugs like, cocaine rocks, cocaine and crystal meth with a street value of more than R500 000,” he said.

He added that the men will appear in Johannesburg Magistrate court and face charges of dealing in drugs soon.
