ILKA to clean up
The I Love Kensington Association (ILKA) committee calls on Kensington residents who care about their suburb to join ILKA on Saturday, February 21, for the first street clean-up of 2015.
“Now that our verges are being mowed again, we plan to clean up the litter which has accumulated along one of the main entrances to the suburb. We will be working along Langermann Drive between Queen Street and the Pick n Pay head office,” said Ms Sue Muller, from ILKA.
The team will operate from 10am to 1pm, meeting and parking on Langermann Drive near the army base. Gloves and black bags will be supplied.
