Ilka to host clean up

“We will meet in the parking area next to O’Garfo restaurant in Langermann Drive. Gloves and black bags will be supplied, so please come and join us and make a difference,” said Mrs Muller.

The I love Kensington Association (Ilka) will host its first street clean up in Kensington on February 21.

Mrs Sue Muller, from Ilka, called on all residents to take part in the campaign.

“Now that our verges are being mowed again, we plan to clean up the litter which has accumulated along Queen Street, one of the main roads into the suburb, and our most visible and busiest business district,” she said.

She said the team will be working from 10am to 12-noon.

“We will meet in the parking area next to O’Garfo restaurant in Langermann Drive. Gloves and black bags will be supplied, so please come and join us and make a difference,” said Mrs Muller.
