SA Fashion Week graced by top designers
Renowned SA Fashion Week (SAFW) designers also participated, including Black Coffee, ERRE, Lunar, Sober and Sies!Isabelle.

A host of fashion lovers flocked to the Eastgate Shopping Centre for the prestigious SA Fashion Centre.
The event took place over the Valentine’s Day weekend.
The showpiece included a partnership with the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM), and ran over three days from Friday, January 13 to Sunday, February 15.
The Ekurhuleni Designer Pop Up Shop featured men’s and women’s wear, together with accessory designers from across the country.
Renowned SA Fashion Week (SAFW) designers also participated, including Black Coffee, ERRE, Lunar, Sober and Sies!Isabelle.
They all showcased SA Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2015 collections.
The show featured several talented, local up-and-coming designers, who took the opportunity to showcase some of their designs.
The partnership between SA Fashion Week and the EMM has culminated in a programme focused on the development and mentorship of Ekurhuleni designers in the creation of commercially-viable collections on sale at the Ekurhuleni Designer Pop Up Shop.
“Our local exhibitors underwent a three month mentorship programme with SA Fashion Week to nurture their art of creating commercially-viable collections. This is part of our efforts to enhance the skills that will empower our young creative people and to support the fashion industry,” said the EMM’s spokesperson, Themba Gadebe.
