For Bedfordview resident Mrs Mahadi Buthelezi, being selected as one of the Mrs Soth Africa (Mrs SA) Top 100 semi-finalist was not only exciting, but it came as a surprise.
For Bedfordview resident Mrs Mahadi Buthelezi, being selected as one of the Mrs South Africa Top 100 semi-finalist was not only exciting, but it came as a surprise.
The NEWS caught up with Mrs Buthelezi who is also a motivational speaker on interpersonal relationship and lifestyle cleansing.
Asked why she entered the pageant, Mrs Buthelezi said she entered for her children.
“My four children said I should enter and see how far I would get in the competition, which I did and having been selected as a semi-finalist has given them a lot of pride,” she said.
Mrs Buthelezi together with her husband, Mr Rob, are pre-marital coaches, marriage coaches and family lifestyle coaches.
“We love the idea that people are the masters of their own destiny, that everyone has something to teach you, no matter what their consciousness or knowledge.
Mrs Buthelezi said it was the first time in her life that she entered the pageant. “To be able to make it this far was amazing and I look forward to seeing what the future holds for me in this competition,” she said.
Mrs Buthelezi appealed to fellow community members to support her journey towards becoming the next Mrs SA by voting for her via SMS.
She said, “People can vote for me by sending an SMS with my name and surname to 35959.”
