10 people were injured this morning after a collision between a bus and truck on the R24 in Edenvale.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on scene and found the bus and truck in the emergency lane of the road, parked 200 metres apart.

On assessment, paramedics discovered that 10 people from the bus had fortunately sustained only minor injuries.

Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and thereafter transported them to One Military Hospital for further medical treatment.

The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
