10 injured in R24 crash

10 people sustained injuries on Friday morning, following a collision between a bus and truck on the R24 in Edenvale.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on-scene and found the bus and truck in the emergency lane of the road, parked 200 metres apart.

On assessment, paramedics discovered that 10 people from the bus had fortunately sustained only minor injuries.

Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and thereafter transported them to One Military Hospital for further medical treatment.

The cause of the collision will be investigated by the relevant law enforcement authorities.
