
SAPS members were patrolling the Kensington area on May 17 when they were informed of a robbery.
The police officers reacted quickly and managed to arrest two suspects.
The officers were patrolling along Cumberland and Montagu streets when they were approached by two victim, who had allegedly been robbed of their cellular phones by two suspects.
The victims gave a full description of the suspects to the police officers and also drive with them while the officers searched for the suspects.
The suspects were later spotted at the corner of Kitchener and Leicester roads.
After a positive identification from the victims, the suspects were apprehended and searched. Two cellular phones were found in the suspects’ possession.
The suspects were charged with possession of stolen property.
