Men hijacked in Cyrildene
A car hijacked in Cyrildene was recovered in Alexander.

A man was hijacked while waiting at a traffic circle at the intersection of Hettie and Friedland streets in Cyrildene.
According to the Cleveland SAPS communications officer, Constable Mpho Mashakane, the victim and his friend had stopped at the traffic circle when they were hijacked.
“Two suspects exited a Hyndai i20 and pointed firearms at them. The suspects ordered the victim and his friend to get out of the car. The men drove off in the victim’s VW Jetta 5,” said Const Mashakane.
She said the Jetta 5 was later found abandoned in Alexander.
