The cast of The Bald Prima Donna, from Holy Rosary High School, was announced as the 2015 winners of the Best Production Award at the Edenvale Amateur Drama Society (EADS) Schools Festival recently.
The school competed against 18 other plays and competed in the final against Sutherland High School and Greenside High School.
The play, about the miscommunication of language, was written by Eugene Ionesco.
The play highlighted the notion that time owns society, and was set in London in the 1950s.
The play was directed by Grade 12 pupils, Olivia Hinckley and Daniella da Silva.
This is the fourth year Holy Rosary walked away with the prestigious award.
