Cupcake day held for Cansa
The centre provides a home away from home for those patients undergoing treatment in different hospitals.
The Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa) launched a Cup Cake for Cancer event at the Keurboom Care Centre on Friday, June 5.
Ms Anjolien Brink said the home also received R18 000 in vouchers from Shoprite Checkers on the day.
“This will help us to care for and support our patients,” she said.
The centre provides a home away from home for those patients undergoing treatment in different hospitals.
Ms Brink said the centre depends on donations.
