Linksfield development granted authorisation

A copy of the environmental authorisation is available on the Bokamoso website

Authorisation has been granted for the proposed construction of the Linksfield Mixed Use Development.

The notice of confirmation was sent to all interested and affected parties this afternoon.

Environmental consultants, Bokomoso stated in the notice that the development would encompass, educational, commercial, show rooms, business, retail, shops, place of amusement, restaurant, hotel, offices, residential uses and associated infrastructure.

Residents can appeal the decision.

Should anyone wish to appeal any aspect of the decision, they must, inter alia, lodge a notice of intention to appeal with the Member of the Executive Council (MEC), within 20 days from June 17 by fax on  011 240-3158/2700

Alternatively residents can lodge their appeal by post to  The Appeals Administrator, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; P.O. Box 8769, Johannesburg, 2000.

Appleal can also be submitted by hand to The Appeals Administrator, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; 11 Diagonal Street, 4th Floor Diamond Building, Newtown, Johannesburg, 2000
