“The areas are affected by the outage are  Tunney, Highway Gardens, Klopper Park and Meadowvale Industrial area,” said EMM spokesperson, Themba Gadebe.

“Tests and repairs are underway and individual areas will be brought back as and when repairs are completed. The estimated restoration time for all customers is 8pm tonight,” Mr Gadebe said.

“We can assure residents that work will continue until power is restored to all areas following the cable theft which resulted in this outage.”
