Reigning Miss Teen South Africa, Ashley Willows from Bedfordview, left for Los Angeles on July 6.
Ashley and other members from the South African World Championships of Performing Arts team participated in the world championships held from July 10 to 18.
The members of the team have a variety of talents and include dancers, actors and models.
Last year, Ashley competed in Miss Teen International in Houston, Texas, where she placed in the top eight and won the Best Interview category.
Ashley competed in the modelling category at the world championships.
