”We have lost a great man,”: Warrant Officer Sibusiso Ndlovu memorial

W/O Ndlovu remembered during the memorial service.

Senior SAPS members took turns remembering the slain Cleveland SAPS officer Warrant Officer Sibusiso Ndlovu.

W/O Ndlovu died during a shootout between police and suspects next to the Jeppe hostel on Saturday morning.

During the memorial service held Hillbrow SAPS station today, Cleveland SAPS station commander Colonel Dlamini said W/O Ndlovu was one of the brave members in the station.

“We lost one of the bravest members. An officer who could groom other members that work with him. A well dressed officer. Never would you find him without his bullet-proof vest. Even during the time of his passing he was wearing it,” Col Dlamini said.

His unit commander also shared the same sentiments.

“The community of Cleveland will suffer a less policing. He is irreplaceable. We lost a great man here,” the commander said.
