DA calls for suspension of “gold tooth” police officer

“Failing to do so, implies that the police do not take these allegations with the importance they deserve."

The Democratic Alliance has called for the immediate suspension of the “gold tooth” police officer at the Edenvale Police Station who appeared on Carte Blanche last night and is allegedly involved in physically and verbally abusing residents of Edenvale.

“The DA takes these allegations in a serious light as does the Edenvale community as a whole.  The police need to show that while the internal investigations are ongoing, they are actually taking this matter seriously and the suspension of the “gold tooth” officer is the only course of action given the severity of the allegations,” Member of Parliament, Mike Waters said.

“Failing to do so, implies that the police do not take these allegations with the importance they deserve.

“In addition while remaining on duty, officer “golden tooth” can influence the investigation and continue with his reign of terror through Edenvale,” MP Waters said.
