Council takes action – Reader
I am happy to say that council has started the repairing process.
EDITOR – I am a local resident in the Edenglen area and there is positive news.
Following the amount of recently-published articles by the NEWS regarding the state of Edenvale’s roads, I am happy to say that council has started the repairing process.
On August 27, I woke up to two jack hammers and 12 of the council’s workers. They were prepared for the resurfacing of the entire cul-de-sac in Elize Road.
The road was damaged more than a year ago, when we experienced a period of heavy rain. My father regularly contacted the local municipality to inform them of where the potholes were.
The council may not always do everything right, but we are happy to say that they are currently working on the roads.
