Four suspects were arrested for possession of stolen property in Yeoville, Joe Slovo and Yeo streets on Friday last week.
The arrest came after the SAPS received a tip-off about suspected stolen property being off loaded at a building by four men.
According to the Yeoville communications officer, Constable Thabo Malatji, upon arrival they found 35 solar panels packed in a room being guarded by four men.
The suspects failed to account for the panels and were taken to the Yeoville SAPS for detention.
The suspects will appear in the Hillbrow Magistrate’s Court.
