Looking talented youngsters in Edenvale and Bedfordview

Children from Bedfordview and Edenvale who wish to audition for the talent extravaganza will be allocated an audition time slot for Sunday, October 18, between 10am and 2pm.

Edenvale High School will host the Edenvale/Bedfordview’s Got Talent competition on October 23.

Pre-audition entry forms are now available from Edenvale High School.

Children from Bedfordview and Edenvale who wish to audition for the talent extravaganza will be allocated an audition time slot for Sunday, October 18, between 10am and 2pm.

Entries will also be taken on October 18 from 9am at Edenvale High School.

October 18 entries will be on a first come first served basis.

All auditions will be completed on October 18 and entries close at 1pm.

Acts will find out after the audition whether they were successful and will then head straight to the finals, which will take place on October 23.

Singers, dancers, actors and others are invited to audition for the competition both individually or in groups.

The talent competition is open to both primary and high school pupils aged between six and 19.

All music and backtracks can be supplied on a memory stick in an MP3 format or on a CD at the auditions.

The memory stick or CD must be clearly marked with the contestant’s name and a first and second song choice.

Any bands performing must supply their own back line including guitars, drums, key boards and so on.

The final show night will take place on October 23 at 7pm at Edenvale High School.

All sound checks will be done between 4pm and 5pm on the night.

All contestants must sign in by 5.30pm at the latest.

Prizes to be awarded to the top performer in each category and the main prize will go to the overall winner across all categories.

There is an entry fee of R50 per contestant only payable once contestants have made it through to the finals.
