SAPS spokesperson receives promotion
The NEWS congratulates Bedfordview SAPS spokesperson Warrant Officer (W/O) Mduduzi Nhlabathi on his promotion.
The NEWS congratulates the Bedfordview SAPS spokesperson, Warrant Officer Mduduzi Nhlabathi, on his promotion.
W/O Nhlabathi was among the nine officers from the station promoted last Tuesday.
He joined the police service in January 1995 and has worked in different units within the service since.
He told the NEWS that although he had many highlights in his career, those that stood out for him was his time as sector manager for Sector 2 and Sector 3.
“I also worked in liquor compliance as well as social crime prevention before moving to communications,” said W/O Nhlabathi.
One of his colleagues, Constable Hlulani Mathebula, wished W/O Nhlabathi well.
She said, “I hope he continues to do the good work that he does and I wish him many more promotions in the future. He deserves it.”
Asked what the promotion meant to him, W/O Nhlabathi said he was grateful to see his hard work pay off.
“However, I think one of the most important things for me is the role played by my fellow members in supporting and assisting their fellow members. I thank each and everyone of them for their support,” he said.
