On November 11, 1918, guns fell silent across the Western Front as Germany signed the treaty of surrender, bringing World War I to an end.

Wreaths were laid while the pipe major of the Jeppe Pipe Band played the lament, ‘Flowers of the Forrest’.

Guests had the opportunity to lay wreaths, along with pupils from Assumption Convent and Jeppe High School for Girls.
