Edenvale SAPS head of crime prevention, Lieutenant Colonel Robbie Roberts will take up a crime prevention post in Tembisa.
“I can confirm that the transfer will take place anytime in the next month and a half,” Lt Col Roberts said.
In August last year the community rallied against the transfer and over 5 000 community members signed a petition to keep Lt Col Roberts in Edenvale.
