A man was hijacked while waiting for his sister on Ocean Street in Kensington.
The incident occurred on Friday, December 4, shortly before 11pm.
The Cleveland SAPS spokesperson, Constable Mpho Mashakane, said the man was sitting in his silver Audi when a white VW Jetta with four occupants stopped next to his car.
“One of the VW Jetta occupants pulled out a firearm and pointed it at him. The man ordered the victim out of his vehicle. The suspect then drove off in the Audi while his accomplices followed in their VW Jetta,” said Constable Mashakane.
There were three pairs of new shoes, a passport, a toolbox and a tablet device among other items inside the hijacked car.
