A kind-hearted Little Eden resident gives comfort to residents who experience off days.
Ms Dorothy Swanepoel was only seven years old when she was admitted to Little Eden in 1977.
Today she is 39 years old and provides a secure place for most of the children at Little Eden.
She is known by her fellow residents who run to her for company and even a bit of spoiling.
Dorothy occupies this role in the most gentle and loving manner.
The staff have since nicknamed her “granny of the children” due to her gentleness.
