Two men and a woman robbed a guest house and then stayed in another guest house close by for three days.
The incident took place in Yeoville.
According to the Yeoville SAPS spokesperson, Constable Thabo Malatji, the three robbed a guest house on Frances and Grafton streets.
“The three, who are all in their early 30s, pretended to be looking for accommodation. As the receptionist was preparing to book them in, the two men pulled out firearms and pointed the weapons at her. They demanded money,” said Const Malatji.
The three suspects fled the scene following the robbery.
“Following an investigation, they were arrested at a guest house on Francis Street on Monday, December 18, shortly after 1pm. They have been charged with business robbery,” said Const Malatji.
He said the three suspects have not been linked to other cases yet.
