Three men arrested in Observatory on Tuesday, February 16, have been linked to a housebreaking in Edenvale.
Yeoville SAPS spokesperson, Constable Thabo Malatji said police were patrolling when they noticed a suspicious vehicle parked next to Grace and Judith streets after 3pm.
“There were three men in the car. Police also saw one jumping over the wall of a nearby property. When he noticed the police he managed to escape. When the police searched the car and the three men, household goods were discovered,” Const Malatji said.
He said it was discovered that the items in the car were stolen during a housebreaking that took place in Edenvale earlier that day.
Const Malatji said the car the suspects were in was hijacked in Randburg earlier this year.
