Jeppe gets ready for annual show

The Highland Gathering promises to be bigger and better this year as there will be a large contingent of local and national bands competing.

The annual Jeppe Highland Gathering will take place on May 14.

The event will be held from 8am to 4.30pm and will take place at Jeppe High School for Boys

The Highland Gathering promises to be bigger and better this year, as there will be a large contingent of local and national bands competing in both the schools and senior grades of the National Championship.

The event will include Pipe Bands and Highland Dancers.

The will be a beer garden, fun activities for the youngsters and a craft market with a variety of foods and drinks available.

The day will finish off with Massed Bands in the late afternoon, with hundreds of band members participating in an unforgettable spectacle of sound and colour.

Secure parking will be available on the school fields with overflow parking at Jeppe High School for Girls sports fields.
