
House robbers made off with US dollars and a black diamond on May 24.
According to Cleveland SAPS spokesperson, Constable Mpho Mashakane, two men managed to break into a house on May 24 at the corner of Panther and New York streets in Kensington.
“At about 11:45am two men, one in possession of a crowbar, jumped the wall, broke the kitchen door, tied up the helper then searched the house,” said Const Mashakane.
“After searching the house they took a safe containing one firearm with ammunition, 3 000 US dollars and a black diamond unset”.
Cleveland SAPS is investigating a case of house robbery.
