A body of an elderly man (84) was found at a residential property in the Edenvale Avenues this morning.

“A docket was opened and the matter will be investigated further once the SAPS have received the pathologists reports,” said the Edenvale SAPS station commander, Colonel Eddie Trollip.

The circumstances surrounding the death is unknown.

“The case will be treated as murder until more information is received. An investigation is under way,” said Col Trollip.
