Two young men were stabbed to death on Jules Street in Malvern on Saturday morning.

According to Cleveland SAPS spokesperson, Constable Mpho Mashakana the two men had left a tavern in the area when the incident took place.

“21-year-old Skhumbuzo Nyoni and  25-year-old Philayadeni Mhlongo were allegedly involved in a fight at the tavern shortly before they left. While on their way home, the two men were attacked by an unknown number of suspects.

“They both sustained fatal stab wounds to their upper bodies,” Const Mashakane said.

No arrests have been made and the SAPS is appealing to anyone with information to come forward immediately.
