Visitors spend time with residents

Visitors and donors of Little Eden visited the society in Edenvale and Bapsfontein on Mandela Day, July 18.
“As per every Mandela Day, our donors came through in large numbers at both our homes to visit us on Mandela Day,” said Ms Nichollette Muthige, the public relations and communications officer. She said that many visitors arrived with gifts from their wish list.
Mrs Muthige said visitors received a tour of the facilities, helped residents with paint work, made sensory toys, helped fold laundry and assisted during feeding times.
“Some of our first time visitors were overwhelmed with emotion when they met our residents but they soon realised that all our residents need is love,” said Ms Muthige.
She said Little Eden is grateful all for the love and support.
