A man who was arrested at the Cleveland off-ramp on August 17 has been linked to various robberies in the Cleveland area.
He was arrested at the Cleveland off-ramp following a routine patrol by the SAPS.
“The police officers were on duty when they spotted the suspect acting suspiciously. When the police stopped the man, he tried to run away. The police managed to apprehend him. They found a silver toy pistol. He was arrested and detained at the Cleveland Police Station,” said the Cleveland SAPS spokesperson Constable Mpho Mashakane
“The suspect has been linked to robberies on the highway,” said Constable Mashakane.
