Art works done by the beneficiaries of the Ekurhuleni Art Development School printing classes and photography project will take to the stage during the renowned Joburg Fringe at Maboneng, Johannesburg from September 9 to 12.
“The 9th annual Joburg Fringe will give the public a free entrance opportunity to see some extraordinary and affordable art works,” said Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality spokesperson Mr Themba Gadebe.
“The show will afford Ekurhuleni based art students support and an opportunity to converse with curators and exhibitors to gain knowledge on how to promote and market themselves,” said Mr Gadebe.
Joburg Fringe at Maboneng will be open on Friday, September 9 from 2pm to 11pm, on Saturday, September 10 from 10am to 8pm, on Sunday, September 11 from 10am to 6pm and on Monday, September 12 from 10am to 3pm.
The venue for the event is 264 Fox Street, situated at the corner of Berea Road in Maboneng, Johannesburg.
