Parish Feast to raise funds

Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church will celebrate the annual parish feast at the church grounds in Kensington on October 9.

The feast is held each year to raise funds for various projects for the church while bringing parishioners together.

“We have catered for 300 to 400 people in previous years,” said Father Thomas Gibson.

“Funds raised this year will go towards settling the bills of renovating the hall and toilets which included a paraplegic facility, as well as paying towards repairs and maintenance to the roof of the church and house,” said Father Gibson.
