Applicants need to be Edenvale residents, South African citizens and between the ages of 20 and 50 years old.
Community members interested in becoming a police reservist now have the opportunity to do so.
According to Sergeant Jacob Mashile, head of Edenvale SAPS Social Crime Prevention Unit there are 32 positions available.
Sgt Mashile said some of the responsibilities of a reservist includes:
* Assisting the police.
* Do patrols/ crime prevention.
* Attending complaints.
Community members interested in becoming a reservist must speak to Sgt Mashile.
Applicants need to be Edenvale residents, South African citizens and between the ages of 20 and 50 years old.
Applicants need to bring;
* Proof of address.
* Proof of employment.
* A certified copy of their ID and driver’s license.
* One colour ID photograph.
Closing date for all applications is November 24.
