Suspect nabbed for dealing in drugs

BRUMA –– Cleveland police arrest a 34-year-old suspect after allegedly finding drugs worth R45 000 in his possession.

Cleveland police made a major breakthrough when they arrested a 34-year-old suspect in connection with drug dealing in Julius Wernher Street in Bruma on 28 October.

After police officials received a tip-off they went to an address where the suspect was allegedly dealing in drugs. “Upon arrival, police officials found drugs to the value of R45 000,” said Cleveland Police Station spokesperson, Constable Mpho Mashakane.

The suspect was arrested and detained at Cleveland Police Station.

He will appear in court soon.
