Heroes and villains charity run benefits charity

"The heroes and villains charity run gave runners the opportunity to get dressed up as their favourite hero or villain and have a bit of fun for a good cause."

The Greenstone Hill Running Club recently held a charity run to create awareness and allow for members of the community to make donations to two charities.

At the charity run, which was hosted at Gillooly’s Farm alongside the parkrun, donations were given to Helen White – in the Community and Doors of Hope Children’s Mission.

“The heroes and villains charity run gave runners the opportunity to get dressed up as their favourite hero or villain and have a bit of fun for a good cause,” said vice-chairperson of the running club, Mr Woshen Naidoo.

He said the support and donations made by the community were better than expected.

“Hosting events like this allow us to make a difference in the community,” said Mr Woshen.
