“My leg was recently amputated and ever since … I have been struggling to move around,” 74-year old Kensington resident.

KENSINGTON – Resident asking for the community's assistance.

Kensington resident Wendy McVie is asking for the community’s assistance.

The 74-year-old McVie is asking for anyone to donate a tea trolley to her. “My leg was recently amputated and ever since I came back home I have been struggling to move around the house. I have no one to assist me and do everything myself and if I can get a tea trolley it will make my life easy,” said McVie.

She says she currently she has to depend on her one leg and that is a little difficult because having to move from the bedroom to the kitchen is a challenge. “I have to hop around and that takes time. Sometimes by the time I get to the bedroom from the kitchen my food or tea is cold, explained McVie. She said she would really appreciate it if anyone could donate a tea trolley to her. If you are interested in helping McVie, you can contact her.

Details: Wendy McVie 011 624 2297.
