Double the fun at Thembalami

Included in the festivities were residents of the Max Ordman Deaf Association (Moda), which in 2015 merged with Rand Aid Association.

Birthdays and bunnies made for a wonderful morning of fun at Rand Aid’s Thembalami Care Centre on April 19.

Included in the festivities were residents of the Max Ordman Deaf Association (Moda), which in 2015 merged with Rand Aid Association.

The occasion was the monthly birthday bash hosted by the Inyoni Angels and an Easter tea, also hosted by this caring group of citizens headed by Inyoni Creek resident Val Bartram.

“We celebrated the birthdays of eight Thembalami residents and six Moda residents,” said Thembalami’s Elize Raath.

Among the birthday boys and girls were two nonagenarians; Doreen Calder was 91 on April 6 and Manuel Rodriques was 91 on April 18.
