Groups joined Little Eden at praise and worship pilgrimage
Archbishop Slattery honoured the late founders of Little Eden Society, Danny and Domitilla Hyams for the work they carried out for people with intellectual disability and their families.
Church groups, families and members of the community joined Little Eden residents and staff for their pilgrimage on Easter Monday April 17
The event was held at the Elvira Rota Village in Bapsfontein.
Fr Sefiri Motsepe led the pilgrims through the village facility in song and prayer.
Later in the day Emeritus Archbishop George Daniel and Archbishop William Slattery OFM celebrated Holy Mass at the society’s Holy Family Chapel.
