ERC to host talk on world hunger

Middleton has travelled to over 75 countries where he helped provide food aid to people

The Edenvale Rotary Club (ERC) plans to host a talk on world hunger.

The speech will be given by Walter Middleton on May 29.

Secretary of the ERC, Linda Clarke, said Middleton has travelled to over 75 countries where he helped provide food aid to people affected by droughts, floods, famine and wars.

In the talk Middleton will share his experiences he had while working with CARE and World Vision.

Clarke described CARE and World Vision as humanitarian organisations which provide assistance to the international community through projects aimed at preventing poverty.

The talk will be held at 6.15pm for 6.30pm at Mongo’s Portuguese Mozambican Restaurant.
