Chess champions went head to head on May 30 at the Goforchess Primary Schools Chess League, as well as the goforchess Primary Schools Chess Cup.
The results in the Saheti Zone are as follows: Senior Primary A Division, first place – Houghton Primary, second place – Saheti and in third place – Yeshiva College.
In the senior primary B division the results were: first place – Keps B, second place – Sacred Heart A and third place – King David Linksfield B.
In the junior primary division, Saheti A came first, King David Linksfield B came second and Bishop Bavin A came third.
The league trophy winners were as follows: senior primary A division – Crawford Sandton A, senior primary B division – Keps B and junior primary – Saheti A.
The cup winners in the senior division were Trinity House Little Falls A and the runners-up were Houghton Primary A.
In the junior division the winners were Crawford Sandton A and the runners-up, Saheti B.
