Little Eden welcomes community on Mandela Day

Little Eden opened its doors on Mandela Day to give community members the opportunity to learn more about the society.

Community members could spend their 67 minutes helping out at the society.

Nichollette Muthige, public relations and communications officer for Little Eden said many of the visitors got involved in making arts and crafts for the annual Christmas concert.

She said the turnout from the community was relatively good.
“The people who came also learned more about the society,” said Nichollette.
Nichollette explained that the open day gave Little Eden the opportunity to inform the community, gain support and create awareness for the society.
“The residents here love the attention they get on these days,” added Muthige.
