St Andrew’s School for Girls recently held its annual speech night event.
The night was held to recognise the diverse talents of the school’s learners.
Awards were handed out to the top learners.

Some of the most notable awards handed out on the evening were for learners who took part in sport at a national level.
Kelsey-Erin Gems (u-18 netball), Sigourney Griffin-Ellis (u-19 rowing), Fae-Siri Keighley (u-19 diving), Cara Nel (u-19 rowing) and Bupe Ruele (u-19 swimming) represented the school nationally.
Jenna-Lee Lange (u-16 hockey) and Jenna Pearse (u-19 swimming) were awarded for national selection.
Katherine Bean, Storme Buckle, Erin Hallaby, Jiayue Li, Jade Teixeira (u-16 rowing) and Lize-Mari De Beer (u-19 swimming) received awards in recognition for national participation.
Lauren Matheson, Hannah-Grace McBride (u-16 squash) and Alexandra Van Veijeren (u-16 ballet) were awarded certificates for ranking in the top 10 nationally in their respective sports.
Academic honours were awarded to Solyle Frankle, Wyome Frankle, Skye Kampmann, Hee Sun Kim, Verushca Labuschagne, Jenna Long, Yongezwa Mbayise, Tanushri Pillay, Lamisah Seedat, Mari-Jeanne Steenberg, Katherine Tregoning and Gabriella Willis.
