Winner of Sun City weekend announced
"The prizes were about giving back to the community and the shoppers."
Anne Nel was announced the winner of Meadowdale Mall Apple Tree’s Sun City prize giveaway.
The giveaway function, held at the same time as the stores second birthday, saw numerous community members attend the event.
One hundred shoppers were called to participate in the celebrations and from those shoppers, 10 were selected for the final lucky draw.

Anne said she was very thankful for winning the prize.
“Thank you so much. I don’t know what to say,” said Anne.
Anne won a weekend away for two to Sun City and R5 000 spending money.
Other prizes included Apple Tree, Meatworld and Wimpy vouchers.
George Jardim of Apple Tree said the day was about celebrating.
“The prizes were about giving back to the community and the shoppers,” said George.
At the event, Triple Elvis performed live for the shoppers.
